Our Beliefs

God • There is only one God (Duet. 6:4, Is. 43:10-12, Eph. 4:4-6, I Jn. 5:7).
He is revealed as Father (Is. 64:8, Mt. 6:9, Rom. 8:15), Son (Lu. 8:26-28, Jn. 1:29-34, Acts 8:37), and Holy Ghost (Lu. 11:13, Rom 8:9, 1 Cor. 3:16).
His name is Jesus Christ (Lu. 1:31, Jn. 20:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11).

The Bible • It is the infallible, unchanging Word of God (Ps. 119:89, Is. 40:8, II Tim. 3:16, I Pet. 1:23-25).  It teaches us truth (Eph. 1:13, Ja. 1:17-18).

The Human Race • We were created by God and made in His image (Gen. 1:27, I Cor. 11:7, Jam. 3:8-9) We were made to worship and serve Him (Jn. 4:23-24, Col. 3:23-24, Heb. 9:14).

Salvation • It is by the grace of Jesus Christ, through faith in Him (Acts 15:11, Rom. 5:1)  It includes faith in Him (Heb. 11:6)  It includes repentance, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in tongues (Lu. 24:47, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 3:19, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 19:4-6)

Christian Living • We are to show love to all (Mt. 22:37-39, Jn 13:35, I Cor. 13).  We are to live in holiness, inward and outward (II Cor. 7:1, Heb. 12:14, I Pet. 3:11).  Prayer, fasting, and study of the Word of God are the foundation of Christian life (Mt. 6:16-18, Jn. 5:39, I Tim. 2:1-2, Ja. 5:16,  I Pet. 2:2).
The Christian Life should be filled with excitement, passion, and fervency in our praise and worship (Ps. 150, Acts 3:8, Ph. 4:4,)
